The Complete Blood Count with Differential (CBC with Diff) is a comprehensive blood test that evaluates overall blood health by measuring various components, including red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. The differential component provides a breakdown of the different types of white blood cells, aiding in the diagnosis of infections, anemia, and other blood disorders. Measures the concentration and characteristics of red blood cells (RBCs), white blood cells (WBCs), and platelets. The differential part categorizes white blood cells into subtypes (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils) to provide detailed information about immune function and possible underlying conditions.
